PURPOSE:To effectively readhere an electric railcar by reducing a main motor current to the prescribed value for the prescribed time in response to the speed at slipping or sliding time. CONSTITUTION:A slip signal is input to a slip calculator 12, and the calculated result is applied as a negative deviation to the command value of a main motor current IMM. The result is applied to a gate 8 to control a conduction rate. In other words, if wheels slip at a slipping speed V1 at a time t1, the conduction rate of a chopper is reduced in accordance with a gate command to reduce the current IMM. The reducing amount DELTAIMM1 at this time is selected to become IMM1proportional V1. Further, the reducing time DELTAt1 is selected to become DELTAt1proportional V1. Thus, the readhesion is effectively performed. |
