Lip-sealing ring

In the case of a lip-sealing ring with a metallic housing ring, the sealing part comprises a cylinder of a PTFE material, the cylinder having two cylindrical sections of different diameters. One section forms the dynamic sealing lip part and rests with a circumferential surface on the machine part to be sealed, whereas the second section forms the bonding part and is joined to an axial leg of the housing ring by a clamping connection, by adhesion and/or vulcanising on. The ring can be produced cost-effectively with low material consumption in simple steps and, with constant bonding between PTFE cylinder and housing ring, has an improved sealing effect at the same time as high wear resistance. <IMAGE>
