A gully-shaft base as a precast member, consisting of a shaft ring, a base plate closing off the shaft ring at the bottom, and a bottom-channel connection piece projecting to the outside beyond the shaft ring, is provided with a border, at least in the sectors having the connection pieces, which projects beyond the outline of the shaft ring to such an extent that the vertical projection of the connection pieces lies inside the outline of this border. To produce the gully-shaft base, the shaft ring is provided with openings for the connection pieces which are preferably positioned in one piece with the bottom channel in the shaft ring, which is then inserted into the still soft base plate made as a reinforced concrete part and is connected to the latter in a positive-locking manner by reinforcing elements. The bottom member of lightweight concrete is then cast into the shaft ring.
