PURPOSE:To enhance the durability by a steady motion by driving in reciprocation in amplified displacements in the longitudinal and perpendicular directions of a laminated piezoelectric ceramic in which an actuator is formed in a special structure. CONSTITUTION:A lower insulator 6 is engaged on the bottom plate 2 of a base 1, an upper insulator 7 is superposed thereon to form a slender containing chamber 9 therebetween. The insulator 7 is superposed in the chamber 9 to form the chamber 9 therebetween. A slender laminated piezoelectric ceramic 10 is contained in the chamber 9. A recess 28 if formed at the projection 2a of the plate 2 to form a U-shaped passage 30 to the guide 29, thereby containing a roller 31. Further, an elastic plate 35 on which an actuator 40 is disposed at the upper center of the insulator 7 is disposed in parallel with the ceramic 10 to make contact with the roller 31 in the passage 30. The other end is contacted with the other projection 2b of the bottom plate. Thus, when a positive voltage is applied to the ceramic 10, it is elongated, a horizontal pressing force is applied to the plate 35 through the roller 31 to be bent to move upward the actuator 40 in the amplified displacement. |
