PURPOSE:To fit a decorative member in a simple operating process surely and moreover without contaminating the surface of the decorative member with an adhesive, etc. by using the high frequency welder-electrode device composed of a plurality of needle like electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The decorative member 5 on which a woven backing 6 is laminated, is placed on the electrode device 25 of the needle type high frequency welder provided with needle like electrodes 14 and an outer peripheral electrodes 15 having the shape same as that of the surface of a skin 4 and coincident with the shape of the decorative member 5 so as to cause the woven backing 6 to come upward. Further, the base material 2 on which a pad member 3 and the skin 4 are laminated, is lapped on said member 5 so as to cause the skin 4 to be in contact with the woven backing 6. The decorative member 5 is held between an upper electrode 11 and a lower electrode 12, and the outer periphery of the decorative member 5 is welded to the peripheral part of an arm rest 8 by high frequency voltage generated between the upper electrode 11 and the lower electrode 12 by a high frequency generator 30, applying the pressure of some degree in between an upper platen 9 and a lower platen 10. Simultaneously the total surface of the decorative member 5 is caused to be closely in contact with the skin 4 by a plurality of needle like electrodes 14 inside of the outer peripheral electrodes 15. |
