PURPOSE:To improve operational efficiency and to eliminate errors by automatically transferring the first original and second original to a copying position to place them in adjoining relation on an original platen and, for copying operation, by supplying a copying sheet of a size that can be copied by sealing in one copying sheet of two originals placed on the table. CONSTITUTION:An automatic original feed device 4 of the copying machine is made up of a feed start roll R0 for controlling the feeding out of the original, an original feed roll R1 for feeding the uppermost original, a double sheet feed inhibit roll R1 for pushing back other than the uppermost original towards an original tray 22 to prevent double feed of the originals and a reverse transport device 24 for transporting copied sheets back to an original stock position. In this manner, the first and second originals are automatically transported to the copying position and placed in adjoining relation on the original platen and, during copying, the copying sheet of a size capable of seal copying of two originals on the original platen in one copying sheet. |
