PURPOSE:To enhance efficiency and to enable continuous measurement and recording including at the time of heating, by a method wherein printed wiring board to be tested supported by an arm in a suspended state is freely immersed in and drawn up from a cooling test tank and a heating test tank. CONSTITUTION:An arm 4 supporting a printed wiring board 3 to be tested in a suspended state is moved up and down by an air cylinder 12 and a rotary shaft 11 is rotated by a motor to rotate and move the printed wiring board 3 to a horizontal direction and, by this mechanism, said wiring board 3 is freely immersed in both of a cooling test tank 1 and a heating test tank 2. Control is performed by a control means to alternately move the wiring board 3 between the test tanks 1, 2 to immersed the same in both tanks for a predetermined time. A measuring probe is connected between both surface circuits connected by through-hole plating of the wiring board 3 to measure electric resistance while the measured resistance value is compared with a predetermined resistance value by a comparing means and, if the measured resistance value exceeds the set value, the movement of the wiring board 3 and the measurement of the resistance value are stopped to stop the test on the way.
