PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption at holding time by applying a full power source voltage to an electromagnet operating coil until the moment that substantially complete closed magnetic circuit is formed by moving a gap to a stator core by a movable core. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet operating coil 1 and a switch element 5 are connected in series with power sources P, N. The element 5 is controlled by a control power source 6, a voltage detector 7, a current detector 13 and an oscillator 9. The detector detects a power source voltage, and produces an output when the voltage is a reference value or higher. The output applies an operation signal to the detector 13 and a reset pulse oscillator 18, and applies a closed circuit signal to the element 5 through an OR circuit 10 and a resistor 11. When the power source voltage decreases to a reference value or lower, its closed circuit signal is stopped. The detector 13 detects an exciting current flowed to the coil 1, produces an output signal when the exciting current abruptly falls, applies an operation signal to the oscillator 9, and applies a signal for stopping the output signal of the power source 6 from a C terminal. |
