Ball joint, particularly for exhaust pipes of motor vehicles, consisting of a first tubular element 10 including a partially spherical cavity 2 enveloping the end of a second tubular element 20 and in which the two tubular elements 10, 20 are held securely together by an elastic means 7, characterised in that the second tubular element 20 is externally surrounded by a sleeve tube 5, one end edge 6 of which extends radially beyond the diameter of the said sleeve tube 5 and constitutes the axial stop piece of the elastic means 7 which includes peripheral branches 8 for axially retaining the first tubular element 10 and for making the interacting surfaces of the said elements bear on one another. <IMAGE>
