PURPOSE:To improve the productionability by constructing the rotary valve shaft for rotary valve power steering device such that plural grooves for exchanging the hydraulic pressure are provided while opening the opposite ends in the axial direction of shaft and chocking the opposite end openings with chocking members secured to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:Plural grooves 17 for exchanging the hydraulic pressure are formed with predetermined interval in circumferential direction in the outercircumferential face of the valve shaft body 3 in axial direction of the shaft body 2 by means of a grinding wheel while opening the opposite ends 17a. Then said openings 17a are choked with a pair of choking members 18, 19 secured to the shaft body 3. With such arrangement, grooves for exchanging the hydraulic pressure can be grinded with grinding wheel resulting in improvement of productionability and mass-productionability. |
