PURPOSE:To wind a stencil paper without causing wrinkling, by a method wherein when winding a stencil paper around the outer peripheral surface of a print drum, the tension on the stencil paper is detected, and is controlled to within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:An end of a rolled form stencil paper 33 is fitted to a clamping part 34 on a form cylinder 32. After rotating the cylinder 32 a predetermined angle, the tension on the stencil paper 33 is detected by a tension-detecting part 48. A controlling part discriminates whether or not the detected tension is in the predetermined range. When the detected tension is out of the range, a motor 61 in a tension-adjusting part 49 is driven to rotate an eccentric cam 60, thereby control the rotation resistance of the roll of the stencil paper 33. As a result, the tension on the stencil paper 33 to be wound around the cylinder 32 is adjusted to within the predetermined range. Accordingly, the stencil paper can be wound without being wrinkled. |
