PURPOSE:To enable hard copy without trouble such as lowering of power of a printer, by a method wherein, the printing duty of a printer is identified, and a dot image of a line buffer is divided in (n) sections to be sent to the printer, if the value is larger than the printing duty. CONSTITUTION:With use of the printer of the 24-dot printing having the printing duty limited to 35%, when the printing duty is inputted as 35% through a keyboard and informed to a CPU as the status of a connected printer, the CPU commands the separation of a dot image in three sections. The CPU maintains the printing duty to be 33% within the limit, by a method wherein data is so separated as to be sent to the printer mechanism in three stages by 8 dots; i.e. firstly, as shown by the numeral 31 the only 8 dots on the upper stage are printed; secondly, as shown by the numeral 32 on the middle stage; lastly, as shown by the numeral 33 on the lower stage. Accordingly, even with a dark image over the printing limit of the printer, hard copy can be conducted without trouble such as power lowering. |
