The electric bar support comprises, made from a single plastic block, a base 1 and a bar clamp 2 which are joined together by an elastic strip 10. Opposite the strip, the base comprises, on a front face 12, a notch 13 and the bar clamp 2 comprises a hook (beak) 15 at the end of a lug (foot) 14, the said hook (beak) and the said notch constituting an elastic fastening device. On the side where the said strip is located, the base comprises two lugs (feet) 35 joined together via a fastening crosspiece 36, and the bar clamp comprises, at one end 3, a hook (beak) 4 interacting with the fastening crosspiece 36 in order to constitute an assembly device enabling the bar clamp to be held on the base in the event of the said strip 10 breaking. <IMAGE>
