An attachment device (26) can be hung from the rear of a tipper body (10) and consists of a trough (26) which has side plates (28) and built-in conveyor worm (32) which can be driven by a hydraulic motor (44). The rear wheel (46) of the trough (26) is higher than its front wall and, together with inner cover wall strips (62) on the side walls (28), serves to bound the swivel-out movement of the rear tailgate (14). In the swivelled-out position of the tailgate, an enclosed chamber for the bulk material is formed above the trough (26). Apart from the suspension means (20, 22) on the rear of the body of the vehicle, neither the body (10) of the vehicle nor the vehicle requires any adaptions to the attachment device (24). <IMAGE>
