A method and device for lubrication monitoring in roll bearings, which have rolling bodies (1) and bearing races on two mutually mobile parts (2, 3) through the rolling body, uses an electric measuring signal which is transferred via lubrication film to a bearing bracket (4) or other concomitant body (1) in the bearing with electrical conducive parts near the rolling bodies. The area of these is greater than the area between the rolling bodies and the bearing race. Changes in the condition of the lubrication film between the rolling bodies and the bearing race is monitored through a detector for determination of the change's impact on the measuring signal. The bearing bracket (4) has two or more connected pieces (5, 6), each electrically conducive, which have leading parts delimiting space intended for the rolling bodies and are held together by electrically insulated parts (7, 8).<IMAGE> |
