The invention relates to a cable cover profile of polyolefins processed in an extruder, the material having a proportion of from 10 to over 60% by weight of mineral filler. The invention also relates to a process for producing this cable cover profile, the polyolefin, in the form of powder or grit, being mixed with the finely ground filler and subsequently the mixture being processed in a screw extruder.
