A fluorovinyl ether of the formula:
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="9" wi="83" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom - (e.g. fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine); Y is a fluorine atom or a trifluoromethyl group; m is an integer of 0 to 5; and n is 0, 1 or 2, which can modify a polymer of at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound.
