A table game is proposed with a playing board (10) which is surrounded by an elastic tape (12), two sets of goal posts (13) which can be inserted into the playing board (10) on opposite sides, a plurality of cue balls or cue discs (14) which can be struck using a rod, cue (15) or bat (17) and a playing ball or playing disc (16) which can be struck by the cue balls or cue discs (14). The tape (12) has in its upper part a level striking surface (120) for the balls (14, 16), the normal of the said striking surface (120) pointing at an angle to the surface of the playing board (10), and in its lower part a vertical striking surface (121) for the discs. The playing board (10) has two mutually exchangeable coverings, the covering intended for the balls being made of a velour material having a pile height of 0.3 to 1 mm and the other covering intended for the discs being made of a plastic with a smooth surface. <IMAGE>
