PURPOSE:To get easily a light and rigid frame for a machine tool, by constituting the frame with some pieces of board and some tubes, as using them combinationally. CONSTITUTION:A frame for a machine tool consists of a frame forming member, which is made by setting some tubes 5 between a pair of boards 4, parallel with each other, and fixing them with an adhesive material. The space which is divided with the tubes 5, between the pair of boards 4, is used as a flow route for a temperature controlling fluid. Consequently, a light and rigid frame for a machine tool can be got easily, by using generally mass-produced boards and tubes, combinationally, moreover, the frame for the machine tool can be cooled, or the temperature controlling of the frame can be performed, very easily, as it is not necessary to performe a processing for a flow route forming, in addition to the former process, because the space which is divided by the tubes is used as a flow route for a cooling fluid or a heating fluid, as it is. |
