PURPOSE:To mainataing the accuracy of sealing assembly by providing baseboard section formed movably and positionably on the moving mechanism for sealing device of cathode ray tube while valve fixing mechanism for positioning valve V in rotary direction at the upper section of baseboard section. CONSTITUTION:The neck section N of valve V is inserted into the value receiver 31 of valve holder 21 and projected downward of the baseboard section 22 to position the valve V in axial direction while supporting the base section of neck section N then the level opening mechanism and the neck chuck opening mechanism are released to rotate the lever 25 of valve fixing mechanism 28 to the inside through a spring 27. Thereafter, each holding rod 34 of neck chuck mechanism 39 of valve holder 21 is closed through a spring 37 to hold the large diameter section of valve V by means of the level 25 of valve fixing mechanism 28 and respective positioning pin 23 thus to position the valve V in rotary direction and to fix the valve V. Consequently, the valve holder can be mounted and positioned on the moving mechanism of sealing device. |
