PURPOSE:To facilitate modification of the type of product and the production ratio by sealing the neck section of valve supported on valve holder and the stem of electron gun G inserted/positioned at the neck section then removing the valve holder together with the valve and the electron gun from the rotary body. CONSTITUTION:The valve holder 21 transferred onto the underside carrying conveyor 85 will be carried on the transfer conveyor 88 and reused, and during this interval the lever 52 of electron gun positioning mechanism 53 is rotated in the arrow direction b2 by means of the rotary member in mount chip removing mechanism arranged on the underside carrying conveyor 85 to separate each positioning block 47a, 47b in the arrow direction c2 thus to remove the mount chip 54 from between the positioning blocks 47a, 47b and to return to the storage station 102 to be reused. Consequently, the production type or ratio of cathode ray tube can be modified quite easily without interrupting the sealing work. |
