A self-rewinding cable drum having a drum hub which is supported on a shaft such that it can be clamped and having a spiral spring in an annular chamber, which extends in the radial direction, in the drum. The technical problem is to provide a DC through-connection for the conductor which is as simple as possible. A spiral, prestressed stripline is arranged between the shaft (2) and a hub part. The outer conductor ends (25) of the stripline (18) are connected to conductors (26) on the drum cable (7), and the inner conductor ends (22) of the stripline are connected to conductors (23) on a connecting cable (24). <IMAGE>
