PURPOSE:To efficiently exhaust produced water outside and make current density distribution uniform by applying different hydrophobic treatment according to current density distribution to an electrode layer formed on oxidizing agent electrode side. CONSTITUTION:An electrode layer 12 formed on oxidizing agent electrode side of unit cell is divided into two or more zones along a flowing direction of fluid oxidizing agent, and strength of hydrophobic nature is varied. When a fluid oxidizing agent flows along a direction of D in a rib-mounted electrode fluid passage 11, the electrode layer 12 is divided into three zones of A, B, and C from the inlet and the strength of hydrophobic nature is gradually reduced from A to C. By changing the strength of hydrophobic nature in the electrode layer, current density gradient is made gentle. |
