PURPOSE:To improve an efficiency of a design editing operation by displaying the logogram information read by an image reading means on a desired position laid out on a display means and displaying a color band in a desired position laid out on the display means corresponding to the color band information inputted from an input means. CONSTITUTION:The command for displaying the logogram information (stored in a work memory of a system controller 6) read by an image reading means 1 is inputted from an input means 3, and then a logogram information display control means 6a displays logograms 13-15 at desired positions of a square plate. Then, when a command for forming and displaying a color band is inputted from the input means 3, a color band information display control means 6b interprets the input data and forms and displays a color band 16 on a desired position of the square plate 11c. Herein, when the input means 3 performs a command for image outputting an edited picture the system controller 6 converts the edited picture into the raster data and can output a rough sheet including the logogram information and the color information by an image output means 7.
