PURPOSE:To make short-time drying possible by drying an org. photosensitive body coated on a drum or sheet by using a far IR heater. CONSTITUTION:The org. photosensitive body having the compsn. consisting of 8pts.wt. N,N'-di(3.5-dimethylphenyl)perylene-3.4.9.10-tetracarboxylic acid diimide, 100pts.wt. poly-N-vinyl carbazole, 10pts.wt. polyester resin and 200pts.wt. tetrahydrofuran is coated to 12mum thickness on the surface of a cylindrical aluminum drum and is dried by the far IR heater. The temp. of the photosensitive material is substantially equal on the front and rear surfaces thereof and the photosensitive layer is uniformly heated. The photosensitive material is thereby quickly dried without foaming and pinholing. The surface of the photosensitive material after drying is smooth. A sharp electrophotograph is obtd. by using such org. photosensitive body. |
