PURPOSE:To avoid high-speed operation in comparison with a conventional device by calculating a residue to a preceding n-bit with simple calculation by a subtractor and a shift register in obtaining the residue to the 1st n-bit. CONSTITUTION:The residue generated after a residue R1(X) to the 1st n-bit data inputted continuously to an input terminal 1 is discriminated by a pattern detection circuit 5. The residue is inputted to a subtractor 11 and the result of operation is inputted to a shift register 7. Further, at each one bit input, the residue to n bits stored in the shift register 7 is calculated and discriminated by the pattern detection circuit 5. |
