<p>PURPOSE:To move a cursor efficiently by cbanging optionally the proportion of the extent of movement of a cursor on a screen to that of an operating body on a plane on demand. CONSTITUTION:A movement extent detecting means which detects extents of movement in X and Y directions of the operating body on the plane and generates output signals corresponding to detected values and a magnification selecting means which designates magnification numerical values of values detected by the movement extent detecting means are provided, and detected values from the movement extent detecting means and numerical values from the magnification selecting means are subjected to signal processing by an operating means. The cursor is moved and controlled in accordance with the signal from the operating means and the display mode of the cursor is changed on a basis of the operation of the magnification selecting means by a cursor control means. Thus, the operation is performed efficiently, and the change of the proportion of the extent of movement of the cursor is confirmed on the screen to continue the work without embarrassment.</p> |
