<p>PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption, by introducing air into an absorbing tower packed with a CO2-absorbent tower packed with a CO2-adsorbent while cooling the same by a heat exchanger and a cooling means and heating the heat exchanger and the adsorbent by a heating means. CONSTITUTION:A current is supplied only to a freezer 6 to cool an adsorbent 5 and, thereafter, air is introduced into a heat exchanger 2 by a blower 1 to remove moisture in air and subsequently introduced into an adsorbing tower 4 to adsorb CO2 while the air cooled in said adsorbing tower 4 is discharged through the heat exchanger 2. In a regeneration process, the blower 1 and the freezer 6 are stopped and a current is supplied to electric heaters 3, 7 to melt the ice of the heat exchanger 2 and, when the temp. of the adsorbent 5 rised, regeneration gas is sent to the adsorbing tower 4 and the heat exchanger 2 to discharge CO2 and moisture.</p> |
