PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a large amount of rejected products accompanied by the automation of the molding operation, by setting an inspection section, where the quality of the laid state is distinguished, at the latter stage of the molding zone where the operation embedding the laid articles inside the molding material is carried out. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 7 (a mold article) placed on a leadframe 8 is embedded in a tablet 9 (a molding material) which consists of a resin heated at a specified temp. at a transfer molding zone 1 (a molding zone). An inspection zone 17 is set between the taking out zone 14 for the frame set at the latter step of the transfer molding zone 1 and the unloading zone 15 where the packaged leadframe 8 is transferred outside. In this inspection zone 17, the shape of the resin in which a pellet 7 is being embedded is identified by means of a television camera 14 and when the shape of the package in which the pellet 7 is being embedded is determined as abnormal, the information of the abnormal occurrence is delivered to the controlling part 18 and an appropriate action is taken for its countermeasure. |
