PURPOSE:To automate the vacuum sealing job of chemical substance in a metal container by filling a chemical substance in a metal container, evacuating the container, welding a sealing metal in a through hole, then welding it in the air. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel member with flange 9 is welded to an opening 1' at the upper edge of a stainless steel pipe 1. A chemical substance is filled in a metal container through a through hole 10 of the member 9, then a sealing metal member 11 is fitted to the member 9. The metal container is evacuated through an exhaust pipe 16, and the member 11 is spot-welded to the member 9 with an electrode 15 to vacuum-seal the container. After vacuum-sealing, a welding nozzle of a TIG welder is closely arranged to the member 9 to seal the container in the air. |
