At the outlet of the heat treatment station (17), a fluid-filled hose is received which is pressure-sealed at both ends. Straps are applied in the longitudinal direction of the hose at specific stations (20,29), and are selected so that the requisite barrier properties and handling ability are achieved. - The straps are applied in a form which wholly covers along the periphery of the hose, and the filling volume is such that after end-sealing in a station, it is possible to alter the shape of individual packages so that they form vertically-standing packing containers. |
