摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to reduce dimensional errors in positioning a carriage assembly and to reduce hysteresis, by providing a belt-adjusting mechanism for adjusting a belt to be parallel to the carriage assembly. CONSTITUTION:The belt-adjusting mechanism 30 comprises a threaded hole 32 provided in a projected part 31, a stepped adjusting screw 33 to be fitted into the hole 32, a nut 34 which is engaged to a tip part 33a of the screw 33 to fix a fitting hole 28 provided at the other end of the belt 27, and a setscrew 35 for fixing the screw 33 to the projected part 31. With the screw 33 rotated, the belt 27 is moved in the direction of arrow Y, whereby the belt 27 is adjusted to be parallel to a side wall of the carriage assembly 21. Accordingly, the assembly 21 does not receive any tension from the belt 27, so that it can be smoothly slidden.
