PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a sheet camber by use of a slight lubricating agent by properly supplying the lubricating agent to the material surface on the camber side and rolling the material. CONSTITUTION:Spray headers Hf, Hb attached with 20 pieces of nozzles N at 200mm intervals are disposed at 2m upper from the roller table plane on the front and rear faces of a rolling mill consisting of upper and lower work rolls 61, 62. A stainless steel clad sheet material in general is cambered with the stainless steel which is the hard material on the inside during rolling of said material. The glass powder lubricating agent is thereupon supplied from the nozzles N to the stainless steel side during rolling. The load to be exerted to the rolls is thereby decreased and the depression amt. (flattening deformation) amt. of the rolls is decreased, by which the sheet camber is prevented.
