PURPOSE:To display a character picture display having the feeding of less disordered by setting a switching control signal so as to select a TV signal until initialization after the power-on of a display control means is completed and changing the level of the signal so as to select character/graphic information after the completion of the initialization. CONSTITUTION:When the power is thrown, a D-FF25 is reset by a resetting signal generated from a resetting circuit 7 and the signal Y of an output line 26 keeps a low level. Therefore, a television receiver is in a television mode in which a normal television signal is regenerated. After that, a CPU1 issues the command of an initialization process to a display control part 6 and after the initialization of a video RAM5 is performed and every kinds of initializations are carried out, the CPU1 writes a high level by a write clock signal in which the addresses of a data line 23 and a clock signal line 24 are decoded against the D-FF25. The output Q of the D-FF25 is changed to a high level and the character picture display mode is appeared. Thus, an initializating state is displayed without the feeling of the disorder. |
