<p>A mowing apparatus comprises two fixed plates (5,6,7,8), each with a number of teeth (9) provided with cutting edges, a carrying member (17) added to each plate and pressure means (19). In order to decrease the sensitivity to small disturbing influences and to ensure a very good effectivity of the apparatus with a relatively small power, each carrying member carries a group of at most three knives (18), each knife being supported in such way, that it is hingeable around a hinge line extending substantially in the plane of the cutting edges.</p> |
