PURPOSE:To improve the operability of an I/O processor by reporting a diagnozed result to a service processor and outputting the diagnozed result also to I/O devices to be controlled by an IOC centralized control part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of system initializing, a service processor (SVP) 1 transmits a reset signal to the I/O device 4 through an SVP interface 13 to actuate an I/O device control part (IOC) 41 and the IOC centralized control part (MPU) 40 and reports the self-diagnozed result through an SVP interface 13. The self-diagnozed result is also outputted to the I/O devices 6 to be controlled by the IOC 41. Consequently, early detection/correction of a fault in the MPU or IOC can be attained. |
