PURPOSE:To easily obtain a stable sharp image low in fog even if developing conditions fluctuate by incorporating at least one kind of an antifoggant as a dye fixing element. CONSTITUTION:The dye fixing element contains at least one kind of antifoggant, and it is not necessary for said element to exist in a photosensitive element in advance, but to exist only at the time of heating, and especially preferable antifoggants are the following compounds represented by formulae (I)-(III) in which Z is a non-metallic atomic group necessary to form an N and imino group-containing hetero ring; M is H or an alkali metal atom; R is an aliphatic, aromatic, or heterocyclic hydrocarbon group; each of R15, R16 is an optionally substituted aliphatic, aromatic, or heterocyclic group and each may combine with each other to form a 5- or 7-membered ring. |
