PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo copying material having superior stability of coating liquid affording also high quality picture image by using a specified diazo compd., a coupling component and, further, a specified naphthalene disulfonic acid in combination. CONSTITUTION:A diazo compd. expressed by the formula (I) is used in a two- component type diazo copying material provided with a photosensitive layer contg., as principal components, a diazo compd. and a coupling component on a base. The coupling component contains monohydroxy naphthalene sulfonic acid (including its alkali metal salt) or dihydroxy naphthalene sulfonic acid (including its alkali metal salt), and contg. also naphthalene-2,6-disulfonic acid or naphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid (including their alkali metal salts) in the photosensitive layer. Suitable proportion by weight of the diazo compd. to the coupling component to be used is ca.1:0.5-5. Further, the proportion by weight of the diazo compd. to the naphthalene disulfonic acid is preferably ca.1:0.5-10. |
