<p>PURPOSE:To automatically rake out chips and recover them by installing a chip receiving box having a chip discharge port on the semicylindrical receiving plate under a pallet receiving board and a coolant discharge port in the lower part and further installing a chip taking-out member which slides on the inner surface of the above-described receiving plate at the top edge of the pallet receiving board. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece after the completion of working, chips on a pallet, and coolant are dropped onto the receiving plate 31 of a chip receiving box 30 by the turn of a pallet receiving board 20. Then, a pallet onto which the workpiece not yet worked is installed is transported into a machine tool and then indexed to a pallet replacement position by turning the pallet receiving board 20. In this turn, almost all the coolant is discharged from a discharge port 34, and the chips on the receiving plate 31 from which coolant is separated are raked out by a chip raking-out member 38 which turns with the pallet receiving board 20, and recovered into the container such s chip recovering trolley from a chip discharge port 33.</p> |
