PURPOSE:To enable a fine wire-like dot pin to be automatically inserted into a printing head pin guide hole even when its tip vibrates by providing a means to position a thin hole of a pin guide to a pin guide hole and a means to introduce a dot pin from a cone-shaped groove side to the pin guide hole. CONSTITUTION:When a case of a printing head has been carried to a dot pin insertion position, the case stops once and a guide 2 is carried to a hole provided on a positioning plate of the printing head by corresponding-position control. A dot pin 1 is carried by holding the armature 6 of the pin 1 by the handle of a robot and then is introduced into a groove 5 of the guide 2. At that time, the pin 2 is inserted into a thin hole 4 by the compensation of the slope of the groove 5 if some vibration occurs, because the insertion side of the pin 1 has the open groove 5. Further if the insertion proceeds, the pin is automatically introduced into a hole in the printing head positioned to the thin hole 4. After the introduction of the pin into the printing head hole, the guide 2 is subjected to divided control, thus parking the guide 2 away from the inserted pin 1. |
