<p>The cage is of plastics material and comprises a frustoconical body (1) provided with cavities (2) for receiving rolling elements (3) which are evenly spaced apart in the lateral surface of the body. Each cavity (2) is provided with projecting portions (10, 11) which retain the rolling element in the cavity, extend inwardly of the cavity and are moulded in one piece with the cage. Lip portions 6, 7, 8 and 9 are additionally provided for centering and sealing. A two-part mould for manufacturing the cage is also disclosed, the two parts being separable axial for withdrawal of the cage after moulding. <IMAGE></p> |
