PURPOSE:To react ethyl alcohol with a food without deteriorating the flavor thereof, by hermetically sealing dried fluid powder containing the ethyl alcohol in a container having specific permeability and making the powder present with the food in the interior of a food container. CONSTITUTION:Dried fluid powder containing ethyl alcohol is hermetically sealed in the interior of a container having at least one surface constituted of a film having >=20g/m<2>/24hr/50%RH/40 deg.C ethyl alcohol vapor permeability to be present with a food in the interior of a food container. For a food having bad preservation quality, the ethyl alcohol vapor permeability is increased to, preferably >=100g/m<2>/24hr/50%RH/40 deg.C and more preferably >=500g/m<2>/24hr/50%RH/40 deg.C and the ethyl alcohol is rapidly reacted with the food in the food container.
