A recording of speech which stores in advance the text of a book directed primarily to understanding, and contains necessary insert portions consisting primarily of index portions in order to switch over conventional reading relying solely upon eyes to reading which uses also ears. When the recording is played back with a playback machine, one can read efficiently a book while listening to the speech with reference to the insert of necessary portions consisting primarily of the index portions, while advancing and stopping the movement of the recording by the ON-OFF operation of a switch, by use of an earphone or a headphone. |
