A dispenser for paste-like or fluid substances includes a container (1) provided with an outlet (6), a piston (2) which can be displaced inside the container (1) along its wall and which forms a bottom closure for the filling material and a guide portion (7) formed by the wall of the container and located beyond the piston. To allow for selective continuous or portioned dispensing of the filling material with the simplest construction and greatest reliability of operation, the container (1) is provided along the whole travel of the piston (2) with a slot (9) formed in its guide portion, open at the bottom and the axis of which is parallel to the axis of the piston (2). To displace the piston a slider (3) is provided having about the same length as the slot (9) and two walls arranged on both sides of the slot (9), adjacent the inner or the outer side of the wall of the container. The inner wall of the slider is attached at its upper end to the piston (2) and at its lower end to the outer wall. |
