Parallel slide valve as a shut-off and regulating fitting for flows of gaseous and liquid substances, in particular those containing admixtures of abrasive solids. The fundamental structure comprises a housing, a slide-valve plate with a spindle and packing rings. The housing is of split design and has two housing halves with pipe connection elements and a spindle guide housing with a spindle seal through which the spindle is passed. The slide-valve plate is arranged between the packing rings, which are inserted into the housing halves. According to the invention, the packing rings and the slide-valve plate have sliding surfaces made of sintered ceramic material, and soft seals are arranged between the packing rings and the housing halves. <IMAGE> |
