PURPOSE:To extremely lessen the generation of flaws on the surface of a heating roller by a separating pawl by coating the front end and guide surface of a body made of a sintered body with fluoroplastic in the state of impregnating said plastic thereto. CONSTITUTION:The separating pawl 1 is constituted of the body 16 formed by sintering an aluminum metal and a fluoroplastic layer 17 which coats the front end 11 and guide surface 12 of the body 16 in the state of impregnating said plastic thereto. The fluoroplastic layer 17 is formed by using a polytetrafluoroethylene resin dispersion and baking the same at 400 deg.C. Said layer coats the body in such as manner as to form the flat guide surface 12 continuously from the end 11. The thickness of the fluoroplastic layer 17 is about 15mu.
