PURPOSE:To enhance sharpness and color reproductivity of a color photographic sensitive material by incorporating at least each one of specified compounds and specified couplers. CONSTITUTION:An optional layer of the multilayer type color photo-graphic sensitive material, preferably, its green-sensitive emulsion layer or its adjacent layer contains at least one of the compounds represented by formula I and at least one of the couplers represented by formula II. In these formulae, A is group to be allowed to release PDI by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; PDI is a group to be allowed to release a development inhibitor after the release of PDI by the coupling reaction with said oxidation product; R1 is H or a substituent; X is H or a group releasable by the coupling; and each of Za, Zb, and Zc is optionally substituted =C-, =N- or -NH-. This constitution permits the photosensitive material enhanced in both of sharpness and color reproductivity to be obtained. |
