<p>PURPOSE:To easily repair pipelines by a method in which plural vertical slits are formed in parallel with the axial direction in the circumferential direction and sideward grooves crossing the axial direction are formed in the inside for a split sleeve, and a repairing sleeve is fitted on the split sleeve and held. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve expander B is set in an underground pipeline A and moved by means of a dragging rope 4. The expander B is then stopped in such a way as to position a repairing sleeve 6 on a damaged portion Aa. a working oil is introduced through an oil-pressure hose 12, a coupler 13, and oil paths 14 and 15 into the oil chamber 1a of an oil-pressure cylinder 1 and the rod 21 of a piston 2 is contracted. Whereupon, an expanded diameter head 3 is pressed into a split sleeve 5. By the tapered face 3a of the head 3, a force to expand outwards the sleeve 5 with slits and the sleeve 6 fitted on the sleeve 5 is generated, by which the sleeve 6 is expansively deformed outwards and adhered to the inner surface of the pipeline A.</p> |
