PURPOSE:To heat a regenerative body without over and short, by calculating annealed forecast temp. of the regenerative body from actual gas temp. and forecast gas temp. at the outlet side of the regenerative body, and deciding the amended temp. at the time when forecast temp. is made coincident with outlet gas temp. as the actual temp. of the regenerative body. CONSTITUTION:A temp. Th of gas and air quantity are detected by a detector 8 at a gas inlet side of the regenerative body 2, and a forecast value TcE of outlet gas temp. is calculated by an arithmetic unit 11 for outlet temp. of hot blast stove. A deviation TE between an outlet temp. Tc detected by a detector 9 provided at gas outlet side of the body 2 and the value TcE is obtd. by a subtracter 12 and sent to a arithmetic unit 13 for regenerative body temp. Here, a value Ts approximated to actual regenerative body is calculated and sent to an arithmetic unit 4 for outlet temp. The value TcE is obtd. again based on the amended temp. Ts, compared with the value Tc and the value Ts at the time when TcE and Tc are made coincident is decided as actual regenerative body temp. In this way, the energy is saved and the hot air is smoothly supplied.
