Process for applying strips of viscous compositions with well-defined edges to materials using nozzles of a diameter in the range from 0.15 to 0.6 mm, in particular 0.25 to 0.4 mm, and a spraying angle between 3 and 30 DEG , in particular 5 and 25 DEG , and the compositions having a Brookfield viscosity at 25 DEG C of between 10 and 80, in particular 15 to 45 Pa.s, and the outlet pressure upstream of the nozzle being between 10 and 400, in particular 150 to 300 bar. Used primarily as compositions are PVC plastisols.
